Double Ground Hardwood is a screened and double ground material that is ideal for all mulch applications. The double ground hardwood mulch is ground to a particle size of approximately 2" and is very easy to move and spread. Available in bulk and 2 cu. ft. bags.

Color-enhanced mulches are an easy and effective way to improve the appearance of a landscape. We use the Sahara X Series which is one of the best and most efficient mulch coloring systems in the world. In addition, we use only the highest quality colorbiotics colorants available. Common Questions Concerning Colored Mulches:

1. Is Colorbiotics safe for my plants and animals?
Yes! The raw materials used to make Colorbiotics are made from naturally occurring colors found on the Earth's surface. The colorants are specifically formulated to be nontoxic to plants and animals.

2. Do the colors ever wash off the mulch?
No! Colorbiotics colorants are specially-engineered to create an incredible bond with bark mulch and wood fiber. Once the colorant dries, it's on the mulch permanently. You will not experience any wash-off or leaching.

3. How long does Colorbiotics mulch maintain its color?
Color-enhanced mulch will typically maintain its color for a full season, compared to other mulches, which turn gray or white after just a few weeks.

4. How much should I apply?
As a general rule of thumb, you should apply mulch at a depth of 2" to 4".

Pine Needles: We offer Slash Pine needles that are harvested in Georgia and Florida. The bales vary in color depending on the time of year. The most attractive pine needles we receive are harvested in late fall to early spring. For an initial 3"-4" thick application, one bale covers approximately 35 sq.ft. For freshening applications of 1"-2" thick, one bale covers approximately 70 sq.ft.

Wheat Straw: Our wheat straw is a seasonal product, and is sold when available from local farmers. The bales are large and come at a very affordable price.
